Poem one, Poem two, Poem three, Me.

It is finally here: Issue 6 of Poems, Tales & Other English Words and I am in it. If you would have told me a year ago

"Hey, Tash, halfway through next year you will have six publishing credits" I would have laughed so hard you'd have backed away slowly and never spoken to me again. But, it is halfway through this year and I do, in fact, have six publishing credits.

My latest three come from the above mentioned literary anthology. They have published 3 of my poems and it's something I don't think I'll ever quite get used to.

The theme for issue 6 is: What We Carry, and if you know me? Well, I carry a LOT. I submitted three poems (yes, they chose them all, crying emoji, crying emoji, crying emo-you get the idea) and they now have a proud home in this beautiful literary magazine along with some amazing pieces of work from writers and authors all over.

There will be a physical copy you can get your hands on, you know if you want to flick through it and go "Oh my goodness, I know her!" but if you fancy just having a little read before then you can find it here! You will have to download it but honestly it is so worth it because the work in there is so, so beautiful and not something you want to miss.

The three poems of mine that are featured are a mix of old and new, one I wrote in 2018. They all mean so much to me but I'm not going to bore you with the semantics and delve into the "This is what I meant by this", we're not in GCSE English, nobody wants to do that. But honestly, I am really proud of these poems and I think they are some of my most bare-faced work.

I don't think I'll ever get over seeing my name in an actual publication, or be able to say outloud "I'm a published poet" but maybe one day it will just be an every day, day.
