Is it too early to talk about Autumn?

Sorry to do this guys but we have to talk about Autumn. Why? Because I'm being published! That's why! I've been tinkering away with lots of poetry over the past few weeks and hiding from the glaring sunshine like a adjective obsessed vampire who can only take the light source of a computer screen.

There is a beautiful online magazine called MOONROT. They love all things dark, dingy, punky, weird, spoopy, they prefer poetry that unsettles. The little sister of flamboyant poetry, the big sister of light-hearted poetry that is sitting in the corner refusing to speak to the relatives that refuse to accept she only bares her soul to her black seamed diary.

So, me being the fun loving, glittery person I am (LOL) submitted the second I saw their submission call on Chill Subs and they have graciously accepted some of my work.

I cannot wait to share this with you when it gets published in October, spoiler alert: it's a deep one. (That's what she said) But I hope you enjoy it as much as the guys over at MOONROT did. If you want to have a nosey at their stuff in the mean time, you can find it here!

In other news, I am still awaiting some emails regarding my children's book manuscript so don't think I've left that to gather dust, it is definitely still in the works but the powers that be are still deciding whether it is worth the cost of paper and ink. We'll see, maybe one day it'll get there and I'll have my very own book sat on a shelf.
